Graphic Design
Before founding King Design Solutions, our CEO Mark King honed his creative expertise while attending Georgia Southern University, where he provided professional graphic design support to several campus departments. During his tenure, he worked with the Dean of Students Office, Office of Greek Life, Office of Student Activities, Alcohol and Other Drugs Office, Eagle Entertainment Campus Programming Board, and the Multicultural Student Center.
These projects involved designing promotional materials for campus events, educational programs, and student engagement initiatives — all crafted to align with Georgia Southern’s brand identity while maintaining a creative edge that captured the attention of a diverse student audience.
Each department at Georgia Southern had unique communication goals and target audiences, ranging from educational awareness to student entertainment and cultural programming. The challenge was to create visually compelling materials that met these distinct objectives while maintaining brand consistency across all university communications.
Additionally, as an in-house student designer, Mark had to balance tight timelines, evolving project scopes, and multiple stakeholders — developing designs that not only stood out but also adhered to university branding standards and administrative approval processes.
